A first principle of leadership is that it is a relationship between leaders and followers.  A second principle is that effective leaders are both aware of and consciously manage the dynamics of this relationship.  This, however,  is easier said than done especially when it comes to building high performance relationship between incumbent and emerging leaders. Bridging generational gaps in styles of communication, assumptions about authority, power, control and lifestyles require an awareness, vulnerability, transparency and authenticity that are often difficult challenges.  Through findings from hard-hitting research, compelling organizational and work-place stories this workshop will offer practical steps for both incumbent and emerging leaders on how to overcome this generational divide and build high performance leadership relationships that will lead to success.
